2021 Silver Lake Roza Red
Tasting notes
This Roza Red Blend reveals an aromatic nose of anise and dark cherries with fig, plum, and smoky oak flavors on the palate. Excellent ripeness and roundness in the mouth converge into a lengthy finish in this wine. Pair this full-bodied red wine with grilled sirloin steak and mushroom risotto, and for dessert try it with a rich dark chocolate bar.
Production notes
Ripe grapes were harvested and crushed to stainless steel fermentation tanks where they were inoculated with select yeast strains. Upon completion of primary fermentation, the wines were pressed, and put through malolactic fermentation. The wines were then aged in a combination of stainless steel and oak barrels for 11 months. The blend was then created using each varietal component and bottled.
