2022 Silver Lake Roza Rose
Tasting notes
Aromas of tropical fruit, plums and strawberries are reflected on the lively, rich palate of this light Rose wine. The palate is fruity and intense, finishing dry and crisp.
Production notes
Ripe Riesling grapes were harvested, crushed, and pressed to stainless steel tank where the juice was inoculated with a selected yeast strain. The wine was fermented cool (~56oF) for 30 days to help preserve fresh fruit flavors. Primary fermentation was stopped using cold temperatures and Sulfur Dioxide, in order to leave ~1.2 Residual Sugar in the wine. Once the fermentation was stopped, the wine was blended, stabilized for acid and protein. The wine was then prepped for bottling through filtration and bottled.
