Vitis Distiller’s Blend Vodka is a proprietary blend made from several grape varieties. The vodka is made in a two-step process using a pot still with a rectification column outfitted with 8 rectification plates and a dephlegmator. In the first step, Chenin Blanc wine is distilled to about 130 proof. Several batches are pooled together and is distilled a second time to achieve a proof of at least 190. The spirit was diluted to 80 proof with filtered deionized water, cold stabilized, filtered and aged at least one month until bottled.
